In Costa Rica, life is Pura Vida, and wherever you go, you see and hear these two words and continuously will experience this feeling. Pura Vida means to live a peaceful, simple, uncluttered life with a deep appreciation for nature, family, and friends; a “real-living” that reflects happiness, well-being, conformity, and satisfaction.
But Costa Rica is not only famous for the happy and friendly people. Although Costa Rica consists of only 0.03 % of the world’s landmass, it is home to 5 % of the world’s biodiversity. Therefore, wherever you go, there is life, and you will see many unique animals and fascinating plants. Besides that, Costa Rica has many breathtaking beaches and landscapes to offer.

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
– Anthony Bourdain
It’s not hard to explain how beautiful the Philippines are. The many islands of this amazing country offer the most beautiful white sand beaches and clear, turquoise water. We spent a lot of our time in the ocean, making boat tours and chasing waterfalls with the bluest water we have ever seen.

In this section, you find articles about our favorite hikes in Switzerland, the ultimate Road trip in northern Italy, and the experiences we made while living the van life in Portugal.
